A Manic Pixie Dream Bike... Inspired By A Movie
I mean, how can you not love the sexiest motorcycle on film of the last 20 years? From the film “Tron: Legacy”, the hero bike ridden was a heavily modified 2008 duoposto SportClassic, a bike which had stopped production the year the film went into primary filming. We later acquired a matching 2011 BMW R1200 RT-P police bike in expectations of recreating some of the photo shoots from the film in Vancouver, BC, but never got around to it.
Acquired from the original owner with less than 900 miles on it, we got it for a song, but didn’t see it until we moved to Washington state in 2021, where it was shipped directly to the formally “new” home of DNK TuneWorks for most of 2021 and part of 2022.
